WORLD MEDICAL MISSION
A Case Study in Health and Transformational Development
Our case study on World Medical Mission (WMM) critically analyzes the hypotheses that (1) although good health and well-being are considered human rights, they are not universally applied, and that (2) good health and transformational development are inextricably linked. We assess the relationship dynamics between good health and transformational development by exploring how healthcare initiatives by WMM impact the advancement of impoverished communities in developing countries around the world.
